So my week in review, let me see
Monday: Work, yahoo!! Then some bowling, I actually bowled really well last week, I jumped my average about 3 pts. Um hung out with the bowling guys which was nice. Still haven't had to pay for a beer, which again is really nice
Tuesday: Tuesday was my chill day, I came home after work and just kinda chilled. Then met up with Jules to do some quick Nordstroms anniversary sale shopping. Then came home, made dinner and watched amazing race.
Wednesday: More work, blah. Then I met up with the bowling guys for some practice, I kicked but bowled a 198. Again didn't have to pay for any beer, I love hanging out with guys that have real jobs and money to spend on me
Thursday: After work, my co-worker took me to the Mariners game. His dad had tickets he couldn't use, so my co-worker/boss asked me, and I said sure. The tickets were really nice, they were club terrace level. In the club you can have people actually come to your seats and take your food/beer orders. We decided to skip on the 9 dollar beers and the 6 dollar hot dogs though. After the game we took the bus back to the U-district and met up with Casey for the midnight Mix action. Yummy ice cream on the way too warm day.
Friday: I left work early about 2 ish and Broc took me up to Orcas island, for a nice motorcycle ride and dinner. We ended up getting stuck in traffic, so we didn't get to Orcas until 6:30, so we rode for a couple hours had dinner and caught the 10:40 ferry back. So needless to say it was pretty late when I got home. Orcas was a blast though, especially on friday, it was beautiful. And Broc and I established that we're two people who enjoy hang out together, and not anything more.
Saturday: I cleaned my room, wahoo. Actually I clean my room because Dan came to stay so he didn't have to drive from and back to Yakima in the same day. So my fam cleaned and he got here around 5pm. He helped make dinner, Dan makes a pretty killer dumpling. Much better than I could ever do. He suck a wonderful guy and now, my parents know so too. After Dinner, Dan and I went to Spider Man 2, which was totally awesome, I have to see it again some time. We caught the 9:45 show so by the time we got home it was sleep time
Sunday: Sunday Mid-dayish Dan and I went downtown, we were going to go and chill at the public market, but shopping got in the way. Dan and I are such bad influences to eachother checking accounts. I helped him pick out two new dress shirts and a sweater, and I got a new cordoray jacket, a pair of capris and new shirt. Total damage between the two of us, 150ish dollars ouch. After shopping we picked up Marjorie and head out to Auburn for the Bare Naked ladies/Alanis concert. It was soo awesome. Barenaked Ladies put on a great show, I had forgotten how much I like their music, I really need to listen to them more often. Alanis was totally awesome too. Oh and the capstone to our great concert was this totally adorable gay couple that sat next to casey and me. They were about our age, but it was so obvious that they were having a blast with eachother at they wonderful concert. They were also belting out all of the words of every one of Alanis's songs, even the ones Casey hadn't heard of. They were soo cute, I hope everyone finds that kinda of happiness.
So that another summer week down the drain
| Ask and you shall recieve, Ms. Jamie .
I had the most amazing day yesterday!! Work was great, my research experiment is looking like it might actually work, those of you in the field understand why I was excited. Plus we had cake and ice cream cause it was one of my co-worker's Birthday. But the mosting awesome part of the day started at 3:30 when Broc, the 42 year old, he's 42, Marjorie was right, pick me up at work on his motorcycle and we went riding. He took me up towards Steven's Pass, via highway 2 with a short stop at the a Dairy Queen to get slushies. He is so cool, his bike isn't too shabby either. Anyways we went cruising until 9ish. I think the fastest we were going is about 95ish. If you haven't experience the rush of a motorcycle ride you should definitely part take. Anyways he got me back to my car at about 9ish, the same time that we both realized that we hadn't eatten yet, so we ventured to Than Brothers on the Aurora for a quick dinner. During dinner he invited me to a Hawaiian party his neighborhood bar was having, I figured since I didn't have anything else to do why the heck not. So, I went home and showered and stopped by Jule's house for some hawaiianess, no coconuts though. Anyways with lai crown on I ventured to Maple Leaf and met up with Broc and Rick (another bowling buddy) and a their friends, I think I dropped the average age by about 10 years, but it was sooo much fun. Oh, Marjorie, you'll love this, the bartender at their bar is none other than Missy Davis. I was really fun cause Broc was waiting for me outside, and I walked in before him. Apparently Missy asked him if it was me, and then give me a huge hug. It was kind refreshing, since we weren't really friends in high school. Anyways so, to continue my story, I drank too much. I think I had a couple beers, some kind of blue drink, I think it was a blue hawaiian, and two gin martinis. So, needless to say, there was no way I was going home. Luckly, Broc has a 4 bedroom house and let me borrow his guest bedroom for the night. So after last call, me, Broc and Broc's roommate's girlfriend, who is really cool, she's a lawyer from Denmark, all went back to his place and had a very interesting conversation that lasted till about 4ish. So I woke up this morning about about 11:30, got a ride by to my car and came home. It was really funny to hang out with someone that almost double your age, and has a bunch of friends that are my age. He took Missy to Dave Matthews last year, as like 4 or 5 friends my age from work. Oh He's a chef, I though that was funny. Anyways a day of totally innocent fun.
Anyways, I'm sure this is far more detail than anyone really wanted to now, but I just wanted to say I'm have an awesome summer and I'm still staying out of trouble.
| so last night was Paul's 21 run take two. It was awesome!! We hit up Kai's, Finn's and Earl's and ended up back at Paul's. I think I got home around 3:30, thanks to Ms. Casey for being the DD/person who herds the drunk people in the right direction. So that the recap of yesterday.
The real reason for the entry is to clear up some stuff from Marjorie's Xanga. Yes I'm going out on friday with a 43 year old guy, but it is not a date. He taking me out on his motorcycle, and that's it, nothing more, just a nice ride with a safe driver. Anyways I'll tell you all about it after wards. Happy Hump Day
| So last night I was suppose to go and practice my bowling with Marjorie and Rachel, but apparently our bowling alley has a really big league on tuesdays, so no practice, oh well. But since we were down in Ballard already, Rachel decided we should go to Chinooks for cobbler, not being a cobbler fan, I had steamed clams and a cherry lemonade with some stoli, it was really good. After eating and chilling for a while, Marjorie and I headed to her house to watch the season premire of the Amazing Race. I haven't decided which team to root for yet, but the bowling moms are cool, so are the Father and daughter team. We'll see which one pans out to be my favorite. Um today, was a long day, I'm still at work, I missed the 4:30 bus, so I have to wait till 5:15, whatever. Atleast it gives me sometime to read about Clinton's campaign for the presidency some more. Happy Wednesday, only two more working days this week. and 3ish weeks till the Alanis concert, yahoo! | | |
| so, I realized that I can't spell and have really but grammar in my xanga entries, oh well. So more about my trip to Yakima, um Sunday I spent the day outside, in the sun working on my tan and trying to jump off the diving board on to an inflatable shark. Much harder than it sounds, but it was fun. Then we played lawn sports, and Dan's wonderful Dad was soooo nice and washed my Car. Dan's parents are sooooooo awesome!!! They Rock!! After chilling around on Sunday we went to the Carnival and after we got back we played trivial pursuit, it's much more entertaining after you've had a few glasses of wine. Actually I think, thanks to Dan's mad refilling skills I think I drank about a bottle wine, it was nice. Merlot is good!!! Um then Monday I read outside in Sun while the other kids watched the world series of poker. I'm still working on Clinton's Memoir, I'm liking so far, just got to the part about his campaign for president. Then I took another dip in the pool and ate a really good Roast Beef sandwich made by Dan's Mom, refer to the above statement about how awesome Dan's parents are, this sandwich was amazing!! Then we started our long drive back to Oly and Seattle. We took chinook pass back, it was really beautiful, but I had to drive, so I didn't get as nice a view as Marjorie and Jeb got, oh well, beats the rocks that we saw going up white pass. Um that was pretty much my weekend, lots of fun!!! The Carmodys kick ass!!! Oh I almost forgot, I also got a wonderful, amazing delicious Korean dinner at Jeb's house, Jeb's Mom rocks my world and the service was amazing, sorry Jeb forgot to leave you a tip. Um don't mix spots and stripes, how's that for a tip
Have a great week everyone!!
